Counselor
Starting therapy can feel daunting, overwhelming, or even sometimes scary. That’s why Bailey strives to create a space that feels welcoming, safe, and grounding from the very beginning. She understands how heavy and isolating it can be to navigate the challenges life brings and believes strongly in the healing power of having a space where those experiences are met with acceptance—not judgment. A space where you’re encouraged to show up fully and unapologetically as yourself.
Therapy is all about giving you the tools and space you need to create meaningful change. Whether it’s coping with daily stressors, processing difficult events, managing anxiety, or getting to know yourself better, Bailey is here to support you. From humor and play to exploring the brain-body connection, she brings creativity and curiosity to each session while tailoring strategies to meet each person’s needs.
Bailey works with children, adolescents, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation, trauma, self-esteem, and ADHD. She also supports parents with parenting skills and strengthening family relationships. As a neuroaffirming therapist, Bailey works extensively with autistic and otherwise neurodivergent clients, honoring their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. She draws from evidence-based practices including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and AutPlay Therapy, and is a Certified Autism Specialist.
Bailey graduated from Western Illinois University’s Clinical and Community Mental Health Master’s Program in May of 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Butler University in 2020 with a concentration in Psychology and minors in Neuroscience and Biology.
Her background in neuroscience and years of research on brain development shape the way she understands behavior and need across the lifespan. Clients can expect Bailey to bring this knowledge into therapy to offer insight, validate experiences, and build thoughtful, well-rounded interventions.
