Deb Crawford Counselor/Therapist, Board Certified Neurotherapist M.Ed., LPC, BCN
Deb believes that each person is a unique combination of identities and life stories that contribute to who they are. Sometimes things happen to us that shape us deeply and it takes further exploration and a non-judgmental space to help us learn to change some of those hardwired patterns and build our resilience. Deb helps her clients to explore where their patterns developed, what contributes to them now, and helps give her clients knowledge and tools to help them grow and heal. She recognizes the power of creating an environment of curiosity and calm. Through the use of humor, metaphors and a down to earth counseling style, Deb will be the encouragement and support you are looking for to feel like someone has your back.
Deb completed her M.Ed. at the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2017. She specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+, and Kink+ populations. She obtained her board certification in neurofeedback in 2016 through the BCIA and treats all ages struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and brain injury. Deb is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education at the University of Missouri – St. Louis where she researches the physiological effects of implicit bias and how that applies to counselor education.
