Counselor
Diane works with individual adults age 20+. She specializes in anxiety, attachment, relationship issues, parenting, divorce, and complex trauma. Diane believes that there exists in all of us a spontaneous movement toward connection, health, and aliveness. Diane brings a calm, reassuring presence and a spirit of curiosity and connection into the therapy room. Diane provides a queer-affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed space for all genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, and bodies. Using a relational model, she works to support vitality in your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the world.
Diane is trained in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for treating developmental and complex trauma. This is a depth-oriented, non-pathologizing model that gets to the root question of: what is it that you really want for yourself, and what is getting in the way of that?
Diane received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2023. Prior to becoming a therapist, Diane worked for over 10 years as a CPA in public accounting in both corporate and legal settings. She has her Bachelors in Accounting from Pepperdine University. Diane brings a lot of practical knowledge and life experience to her therapy practice. In addition to NARM, Diane incorporates Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Based models into her work. Diane also has familiarity in working with religious trauma, spiritual abuse, educational and workplace trauma, narcissistic abuse, stress management, and parenting/co-parenting challenges.
Diane is a Provisional Licenced Professional Counselor (PLPC) in the state of Missouri. She is currently under supervision by Get Centered’s Clinical Director, Kim McGuiness M.Ed., LPC, NCC #2019003417.
