Megan warmly welcomes all into her practice. She is open-minded and meets you where you are, no matter where that may be. Empathy is something she holds near and dear, and she aspires to make a connection with everyone she meets. She believes that our differences are what make us who we are, and that everyone should have the space to explore what makes you, you. In her therapeutic space, she invites you to bring your whole authentic self, and will welcome and accept you as you are.
Megan provides services to Youth, Adults, Families, and Couples. She completed her graduate practicum at the University of Missouri- St. Louis’s Counseling and Social Advocacy Center. In this, she was able to work with clients from various walks of life. She has a peaked interest in family and couple therapy. In addition to completing her Master’s degree and licensure, she will be obtaining a certification in family, marriage, and couples counseling that requires specialized training and coursework. Megan also has an interest in working with teens and young adults as they navigate boundaries, anxiety, depression, adjusting to life changes, and processing trauma.
Megan has various experiences working with those school-aged through elderly in a variety of inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. She is a big research bug, and has worked in research settings pertaining to Behavioral Neuroscience and the physiology of Trauma. She has volunteered in the community to advocate for populations in need, and aspires to help others advocate for themselves as well. She is excited to meet you, and join you on the journey that is navigating your mental health!
Megan is currently completing her M.Ed. at the University of Missouri – St. Louis in her CACREP Accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and is scheduled to graduate in May 2024. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2018 from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a concentration in Psychology from the school’s Honors Program through Pierre Laclede Honors College. Megan is participating in Get Centered’s CIT and PLPC Academy and is supervised on-site by Kathy Simmons, M.Ed., LPC, NCC #2019040721 with additional supervision from the Clinical Director Kim McGuiness, M.Ed., LPC, NCC #2019003417.

Megan’s hours of availability:
- Monday 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Tuesday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Friday 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

- Individual session $100 (first session with intake is 90 minutes; $150)
- Couples session $120 (first session with intake is 90 minutes; $170)
- Family session $130/50-minute session; for up to 4 individuals (first session with intake is 90 minutes; $200 )
* NOTE: Based on Counselor in Training status Megan’s fee is self-pay, and she does not provide a superbill option for Out of Network consideration.
