Counselor for Children, Youth (Teens) and Families
Being a part of Get Centered allows a counselor to work independently and within a community in building their own private practice. The work environment was created with the counselor in mind so that transitioning from one type of counseling to private practice was possible. The counselors at Get Centered are supported within a Whole Person Approach just like our clients. We believe if you are taken care of emotionally and financially with literally all the rest provided for you, you can have a work/life balance and you’ll do your best work in caring for your client.
Get Centered Counseling Coaching and Wellness is interested in an affiliate counselor to provide services for children, youth (teens), and families. The affiliate will enjoy working in collaboration with healthcare professionals in addition to the Get Centered Counselor and Coach community. The work with children, youth and families will be centered in anxiety/OCD, depression, social-emotional development, emotion regulation, family conflict, and parenting. Expertise in a therapeutic approach, specialities and certifications are a plus.
Our affiliates are independent contractors (W9) wanting to be a part of a team and share in a vision for treating clients through a whole person approach. In return, our affiliates have access to a community resource work environment and shared compensation based on the belief that feeling cared for first, helps in caring for others.
As an affiliate of Get Centered Counseling Coaching and Wellness you are running your own private practice within a group practice. Where we differ from other groups practices is a desire to help you build your own practice. Our leaders work from a place of encouragement and best practices based on their own business background that spans over 30 years. We know when leaders lead through scarcity expectations align to their goals and not those delivering the services. Therefore, we start with asking the question what type of business are you wanting to build and are available to provide business insight along the way.
We offer in-person and telehealth options for therapy and have a safety protocol for counselors and clients to ensure we are following all health related precautions.
As a member of our community you will have the option to communicate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly with other affiliates as well as the owner and clinical director. Whatever question, concern or need you might have someone will have the ability to point you in the right direction or provide you with the resources to ensure your success.
Requirements for our affiliates are to be provisionally licensed and under supervision or to be a fully licensed Missouri counselor or psychologist with experience in working with children, adolescents and parents. Our affiliates set their own schedules and determine how they would like to serve their clients and build their caseload. We have noticed greatest success in our children, youth and family counselors when they provide evening hour options.
If this sounds like an opportunity to build the private practice you have been dreaming about, but felt too big to do on your own we may be the answer for you.
