Counselor
Anne understands that all human beings are wired to struggle. At work, at school, at home, in our relationships and often deep within ourselves. While these challenges can be debilitating at times, she knows they can also serve as a pathway to growth!
Anne creates a collaborative, solution-focused environment where she invites Adults, Teens (15+), Parents and Couples to partner with her, ensuring they receive the guidance, the tools and the support they need to face their challenges with confidence. She integrates evidence-based therapy models such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) according to the unique needs of each client.
Anne also brings 12 years of experience as a Certified Life Coach and Professional Coach where she had the privilege of supporting and inspiring individuals in their pursuit of more fulfilling lives through the exploration of careers, relationships, and journeys of self-discovery.
Anne is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in Missouri and under the Supervision of Clinical Director Kim McGuiness. She earned a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University in 2022. In addition, she earned a Bachelor’s in Speech Communication (1997), a Master’s in Business Administration (2001), and accredited certifications in Life Coaching and Professional Coaching (2010). Anne welcomes the following presenting concerns: anxiety, depression, ADHD, Bipolar, BPD, relationship difficulties (friends/family/partner), social-emotional support and development, suicidal ideation, stress management, addiction, marital conflict/disconnect, pre-marital counseling, and parenting/co-parenting challenges.
Also, please note – you don’t need a diagnosis or a “presenting concern” to seek counseling support! Often there are invisible barriers standing in the way of progress. We can’t see them, but we experience them through negative thought and behavior patterns, relationship conflicts, a cycle of overwhelm and procrastination, low self-esteem and or perhaps an on-going struggle to manage the responsibilities of everyday life. Anne invites you to join her in a safe space where collaborative solutions and support are available to you.
Anne is Welcoming New Clients and sees teens, individuals, and couples.
