Counselor
Anne brings a rare blend of clinical precision and emotional depth to her work. She understands that all human beings are wired to struggle—whether at work, in school, in relationships, or deep within ourselves. While these challenges can feel overwhelming, they can also become powerful gateways to growth.
She creates a collaborative environment where teens, adults, and couples can explore even the most difficult topics without shame or judgment. In this space, you can expect to feel supported and be equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.
Background & Specialized Training
Anne is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri with advanced training in several evidence-based modalities, including:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)
- Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT)
- Prepare & Enrich Facilitator (premarital counseling)
She earned her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University (2022), along with a Bachelor’s in Speech Communication (1997) and a Master’s in Business Administration (2001). In 2010, she became certified as both a Life Coach and a Professional Coach. She also has experience leading group counseling in addiction recovery settings and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups.
Before becoming a therapist, Anne spent 12 years as a Certified Life and Professional Coach, where she had the privilege of supporting individuals in their pursuit of more fulfilling lives—through careers, relationships, and personal growth. This background gave her a strong, solution-focused lens and broadened her capacity to help clients clarify their values, challenge limiting narratives, and live with greater authenticity.
