Counselor
Starting therapy can feel daunting, overwhelming, or even sometimes scary. That is why Bailey strives to create a space that provides individuals with an immediate feeling of ease and comfort. Bailey understands how heavy and isolating it can feel to carry around all of the challenges and adversities we face throughout our lives. She strongly believes in the power of having a space where these experiences are accepted–free of judgment. A space where individuals are encouraged to show up authentically and unapologetically themselves.
Therapy is all about giving you the tools and space you need to make changes in your life.
Whether it be coping with stressors of daily life, processing difficult events, managing anxiety, or simply learning more about yourself, Bailey is ready to help. From humor, to play techniques, to exploring the neurobiology behind symptoms, she is committed to providing individualized strategies and experiences to help each person.
Bailey provides services to children, adolescents, teens, and adults coping with anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, anger management, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and ADHD. She also works with parents on parenting skills and family relationships.
Bailey graduated from Western Illinois University Clinical and Community Mental Health Master’s Program in May of 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2020 from Butler University with a concentration in Psychology and minors in Neuroscience and Biology.
Her education and years of neuro research have provided her with an extensive understanding of neurological development from birth to old age. Clients can expect Bailey to utilize this knowledge and perspective to help explain behaviors and needs, as well as to craft well-rounded and thoughtful interventions.
Bailey is currently pursuing training to become a Registered Play Therapist and is also working towards her certification in AutPlay Therapy. She is currently under supervision by Barbara Bryant Ed.D., LPC-S, NCC, RPT-S.
