Counselor
For Megan, therapy is a collaborative journey that honors each individual’s unique circumstances and emotions. She believes in providing a non-judgmental environment where clients can express themselves freely and work toward personal growth and understanding. Megan’s approach is especially helpful for those struggling with rumination, difficulty connecting with others, or feeling disconnected from their true selves.
In her work with adolescents and adults, Megan specializes in addressing anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, and navigating life’s big transitions. She also offers career counseling, helping individuals identify their strengths and passions while exploring career paths that align with their goals. Megan is particularly skilled at supporting clients through trauma, offering a safe, empathetic space for healing and growth. Her trauma-informed approach prioritizes safety, trust, and resilience-building, helping clients process and integrate their experiences at their own pace.
Megan’s therapeutic approach blends relational cultural theory with an emotionally focused lens, incorporating somatic tools for nervous system regulation. She fosters a supportive environment for clients to explore their emotions and experiences through building trust, empathy, and compassion.
Megan brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her practice. She graduated in May 2024 with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and served as a Senior Counseling Intern at Terrace House STL. Megan has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, offering support in job placement and life transitions. Her experience as an ABA implementer further emphasizes her dedication to helping children achieve personal milestones.
If you resonate with Megan’s approach and are seeking support in navigating life’s challenges and transitions, she may be the right fit for you.
