Why did you choose to affiliate with Get Centered Counseling, Coaching, and Wellness?
I greatly admire Get Centered’s mission to provide a whole-person approach to services. People are multidimensional and all aspects…emotional, physical, social etc. play a role in overall health. It is wonderful that Get Centered is bringing services together that complement one another and as a result make it easier for someone to access what they need through one location. I am excited to bring Health & Wellness Coaching to Get Centered serving as a guide to those wanting to make lasting changes supportive of a healthy lifestyle.
Why should a client come to see you? What makes you different from other service providers?
If someone wishes to positively impact their life by improving sleep, reducing stress, adding regular exercise, enhancing their nutrition, yet doesn’t know where to begin and success is elusive, I am here to help! As a coach I see you as your own personal expert…you know yourself best. My job is to help you tap into your strengths and find ways to make change achievable. It may take some guidance and supportive accountability from me to help set goals and clear obstacles; but many find that coaching helps make change doable, sustainable, and lasting. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to really listen and to make the change process personalized, approachable and fun.
What do you do for fun?
I love live music so attending concerts with friends is high on my list! Music also powers another favorite activity; walking…something I do nearly every day to keep myself centered. I am also known to swing a few kettle bells for strength, and surprisingly for fun. A New England gal at heart, fun is also defined by mountains and the ocean…both scarce in Missouri so regular trips back East to ski or spend time on Cape Cod’s Chapin Beach with family and friends would be the epitome of fun for me. I also find joy in the antics of my two French bulldogs…when all else fails, they remind me that “fun” is all about mindset!
